Learning Considerations Team
At Minden we believe that each student is unique and has the capacity to learn. We acknowledge that students may come from a variety of backgrounds and present with a range of social, emotional, behavioural, and academic needs. For some students, their level of need in one or more of the aforementioned areas means that they may require access to specialist resources available either at the school or within the wider community.
The role of the Learning Considerations Team is to coordinate targeted interventions for students who require support or extension.
The team members collaborate with a range of internal and external professionals to plan and deliver needs-based support programs and classroom interventions.
The Learning Considerations Team is comprised of:
The Principal
Curriculum and Pedagogy Coach
Guidance Officer
Support Teachers (Literacy and Numeracy, Advisory Visiting Teacher Inclusion, Speech Language Pathologist and classroom teachers).
