At Minden State School, we provide an environment that allows all children to learn to the best of their ability and we simply couldn't do it without our generous-hearted volunteers. For over 145 years, parents and members of the community have helped us become one of the best primary schools in the area.
Minden State School acknowledges and values the role parents and the broader community play in the education of our students. As such, we welcome and encourage parents and other community members to become a part of school life by volunteering to support with in-class activities, excursions, sporting events, or by joining the P&C.
Children thoroughly enjoy seeing their parents working at school, and mixing with other parents is a great way to make conections and friendships.
