Our school is fortunate to have a Chaplain visit two days per week. It is a service that seeks to offer support to our students in a variety of ways. The goal of the Minden Chaplaincy Service is to help students feel safe, connected and happy during their primary school experience. The service is not just here for students but also for families if they feel that they have a need that we may be able to help with (there are a wide variety of agencies that use chaplains as a way of connecting with people who are in need). The Chaplain engages in regular classroom sessions, conducts fun activities and supports students to run the Garden Club.
The Chaplaincy service is not a religious service and participation is voluntary.
